Asking for CC upfront is the kiss of death for the majority of IH type businesses
Good points on the never ending debate on credit card vs no credit card for trial sign ups. For B2B products I've recently change my mind and have removed cc requirement on Wobaka. Biggest reason is that some users may not have direct access to company credit cards which causes friction.
